It was perfect. Great hotel. Absolutely loved the Borealis Basecamp. We didn't have a single issue; it was easy to book and easy to access once there. They took care of the transportation planning and everything. Thank you!
Everything was well coordinated and everything was laid out for us in an itinerary. The Borealis Basecamp was great. We saw the northern lights two of the three nights we were there. There were very fun things to do during the day. Snowmobiling and dog sledding were the things we did but there was much more to do. We would recommend Alaska Tours to anyone and we would definitely contact them for a future trip.
Great experience working with Alaska Tours! They made planning so easy. Great suggestions, extremely helpful in arranging all our priority items plus options for our unscheduled time. Clear and timely communication was appreciated. I would definitely contact them again for future trips to Alaska.
We visited Alaska in March to see northern lights (aka aurora borealis), ride the Aurora Winter train, and soak in hot springs. This 10-day itinerary was flawless. No problems anywhere along the way. Every day (or night for the aurora viewing) featured a highlight. The trip itself was highly successful and entirely enjoyable.
The varied sites in our tour of Fairbanks were all interesting! The pipeline and the Museum of the North were great! North Pole, Santa Claus House and the reindeer were fun! Our guide was informative, and pleasant!
Amazing Alaska! Seeing the aurora borealis was a bucket list item for me. I choose the tour with Alaska Tours for this reason. I could not have asked for better. The accommodations were very comfortable and the train ride from Denali to Anchorage was wonderful!
I went in February because my biggest wish, and last on my bucket list was to see The Borealis Aurora. I certainly got my wish, but it was overshadowed by all the other experiences I managed to fit in. Would I recommend this trip - absolutely, and if I went to Alaska again I would use this company. My booking agent was very friendly and efficient. The whole trip was seamless - go and enjoy.
Our day tour on day 2 was excellent, and turned into a private tour just as scheduled. Later that same night we were taken to a stop to wait and see if the lights appeared and they did! What a treat! We decided to stay an extra day and enjoy snowmobiling and dog sledding since it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. It was a well organized and easy trip and we had a blast.
I had the most unforgettable holiday experience ever, from a fairy-tale Christmas in Fairbanks to charming Chena Hot Springs, breathtaking Borealis Basecamp, and the amazing drive up to the Arctic Circle. Thank you for the most amazing and unforgettable memories!
We had an exceptional guide! We definitely recommend this tour. You will get great pictures of the aurora.
