AlaskaTours created an amazing trip for my Dad & I!! We got to experience so much awesomeness that Alaska has to offer. Our agent Kim was the best and thought of everything with us and took such care of us traveling in this crazy COVID time. Can't wait to return to Alaska.
My wife and I scheduled our trip to Alaska through Alaska Tours. It was her retirement vacation, and we wanted everything to be perfect. After having to reschedule because of Covid and changes in attractions' opening schedules, we went September 1 - 13. It was the trip of a lifetime. I can't say enough good things about all the people we dealt with at Alaska Tours!
They helped me setup a train tour from Fairbanks to Anchorage and secure lodging along the way, even adjusting the days of my stay so I could explore the towns! I have happily recommended them to family and friends I know for their own trips!
We made reservations with Alaska Tours for a June glaciers and wildlife package back in January. Once the virus began to spread and travel mandates were established, our plans had to be altered. The wonderful team at Alaska Tours helped us modify and reschedule our trip so that we were able to go in August. The trip experience surpassed our wildest expectations!
I am no travel newbie. I have traveled many places through different travel companies and of course self arrangement. Therefore, when I say this is one the best ever, it is with careful thought. Thank you Alaska Tours for and excellent experience. Alaska no longer seems like the state "way over there" (I live on the east coast) anymore. It is the the state next door.
Alaska Tours was amazing during the time of this pandemic. Our travel agent, Gitte, was helpful, flexible, and generous. She said Alaska Tours just wants people to see Alaska and love it! We especially enjoyed the Seward region, Talkeetna, Denali national park, and Fairbanks. Every part of the experience was easy and fun thanks to Alaska tours!

I spent 9 days in Alaska in three different areas, it was totally arranged by Alaska Tours. I went in February because my biggest wish, and last on my bucket list, was to see The Aurora Borealis. I certainly got my wish but it was overshadowed by all the other experiences I managed to fit in. These included a trip to the Arctic Circle, a dog sledge at night through the forest, a beautiful train journey from Denali to Anchorage. Would I recommend this trip? Absolutely, and if I went to Alaska again I would use this company.
Fantastic trip and highly recommended. Alaska tours took care of our travel needs and worked with us to set up the perfect vacation.
We visited Alaska in March to see northern lights (aka aurora borealis), ride the Aurora Winter train, and soak in the hot springs. The Alaska Tours website advertised custom tours, so I called their toll-free number and spoke to Kimberley. She listened, knew instantly the best way to accomplish this, suggested activities we might be interested in, knew which hotels operated shuttles to/from airports and train stations, and which hotels would be best for our needs. This itinerary was flawless. Every day (or night for the aurora viewing) featured a highlight.
