Tour Overview

Enjoy a Fairbanks day/evening tour to see the Northern Lights, the Ice Museum, and Chena Hot Springs! You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred 1.5 hours to Chena Hot Springs. After arriving take a guided tour of the Ice Museum. Afterwards, soak and relax in the natural hot springs. There is an indoor and outdoor pool as well as an outdoor hot tub. Please bring your own towel and swimsuit. In the evening, you will go on a 4-5 hour aurora viewing expedition tour from Chena Hot Springs Resort. Look for the Northern Lights to dance across the sky.  Your tour typically starts in Fairbanks at around 3:00pm and you return to your Fairbanks hotel around 4:00 am. Total tour length is about 13-14 hours.

There is a 2 passenger minimum in order to operate this tour. Children must be 5 years old to participate in this tour.

At Chena Hot Springs, the outdoor pool is a natural rock lake pool and can be enjoyed by adults 18 years & older. There is a heated indoor pool and outdoor hot tub for families.

Please note that aurora viewing is dependent on weather and aurora activity. Refunds due to poor or no visibility are not available.
