My love for Alaska started when I first set foot in the state in 2011. Growing up in Denmark, the wilderness of Alaska had been calling me closer since my childhood. Alaska was everything and more than I had imagined! My once-in-a-lifetime visit turned in to more visits. When I was given the chance to make Alaska my home, I didn’t hesitate.
I moved to Anchorage in January of 2015. My greatest joys are found in the outdoors. Hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, skiing, snowboarding and any new experiences I can get. I may have lived here a short time, but I have explored and partaken in as many truly Alaskan activities as possible, including silly things such as running with the reindeer during the Fur Rondy festival.
My two favorite places so far are Kenai Fjords National Park and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Let me share my love of Alaska with you and make your visit an experience of a lifetime!
