in

Day 1: Transfer is provided from your Anchorage
hotel to the Lake Hood. Departing Anchorage by seaplane it
is
only
a one-hour flight
that follows a scenic route across Cook Inlet to the foothills of
the Aleutian Range. Upon arrival at Redoubt Bay Lodge, you
will
be
met
by
your
experienced
nature
guide
who
will

provide
an
orientation
about
the
surrounding
wilderness
and
then
take
you on a
guided bear viewing tour by boat. From the water you are
able to get safely close to view Alaska's magnificent bears
in
their
natural
habitat.
While
bear
viewing
is
not
guaranteed,
your
guide
will
ensure
your
wildlife
viewing and photography
opportunity
is
the
best
possible
experience. Lunch is included
during
your
time
at
Redoubt
Bay
Lodge.
Approximate length of tour, including hotel transfers, is 6
hours. Daily departures offered at 8am and 12pm. A full-day
bear
watching tour
is
also
available
that
departs
at
approximately
8am
and
returns
at
6pm,
giving
you
more
than
double
the
bear
viewing
time.

Day 1:
Same itinerary as the one
day tour plus all meals and accommodation while at Redoubt Bay
Lodge. You will have full use of lodge equipment and the
services of the naturalist guide. Overnight accommodation is in
a rustic, but comfortable cabin with a private bathroom.
Day 2: Casual breakfast at the lodge
this morning before your return to Anchorage.

The
lodge
may
open
earlier in the season for nature lovers, however, prime
bear
viewing
does
not
typically
begin
until
June
15.

Day Tour: Transfers between
Anchorage hotels and Lake Hood, round trip seaplane flight from
Anchorage, guided bear viewing by motor boat, lunch, and all taxes and
fees.
Overnight tour: includes same
services as day tour plus cabin accommodations and meals as noted.
Additional guided activities such as hiking, fishing, exploring by boat
for wildlife, or additional bear viewing are also included.
