On this Skagway day tour, enjoy a journey on an authentic steam locomotive to Fraser Meadows, located 6 miles beyond the White Pass Summit. No other railroad is quite like the White Pass & Yukon Route. Against all odds, the iron trail was carved through some of the North’s most rugged terrain in 1898. This engineering wonder climbs nearly 3,000 feet in 27 miles of steep grades and cliff-hanging turns. The tour departs from the White Pass Railroad Depot, an approximately 5 to 15 minute walk from the Skagway cruise ship docks.
NOTE: Tour departs Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. No departures on May 17, 18, 24, 31; June 14, 15, 28; July 12, 23, 26; August 9, 23, 30; September 6, 10. Additional Saturday departure on September 12.
