Tour Itinerary

Sitka Arrival

In the afternoon transfer from the Sitka airport or hospitality area to the vessel for embarkation. Please arrange for a flight arrival no later than 2:30pm on day of arrival.

Krestof Sound / Nakwasina Sound

Cruise through quiet sounds with dense Baranof Island forest on one side, and small, wild, lesser-known islands on the other. You might even spot black bears loping along the shoreline! Keep a look out for sea lions and eagles as you slip into a kayak or skiff - or head into the Tongass National Forest on foot with your expedition team. Reward yourself when you get back to the boat, the crew will have a treat waiting.

Icy Strait

Enjoy an adventure day! Led by your expedition team, test your paddling skills in a kayak or on a paddle board - or, stay on deck and join the crew for some yoga stretches. Take a skiff to rocky outcroppings and watch sea lions at play. At the end of this unforgettable day, you've earned a soak in the hot tub.

Glacier Bay National Park

This national park covers 3.3 million acres and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site & Biosphere Reserve. A national park ranger will come aboard as you sail and explore South Marble Island, which houses rare sea birds, orange-beaked puffins and a colony of raucous sea lions. Next, head deeper into the park to marvel at tidewater glaciers as they descend into the bay.

Chichagof Island

Today is filled with true, wildlife-rich Alaskan wilderness. Head to the deck and watch for whales as they embark on a prime feeding ground. Get up close with Muskeg as you venture out on a bushwacking hike in the Tongass National Forest, or board a skiff and keep your eyes wide for bears along the shore.

Lynn Canal / Captain's Choice

Not so much a canal, as a fjord - in fact, it's North America's deepest at over 2,000 feet. Once a major route for Klondike gold rushers, it is now a busy inlet for humpacks, orcas, Dall's porpoise, Steller sea lions, salmon, halibut and mischievous river otters. But today is not just for sightseeing - your captain is on task to pick the prime spot for adventure! Venture out for a long paddling excursion, search tide pools for microscopic life, or hike in a shadow-filled forest.

The unofficial adventure capital of Alaska offers a variety of activities for every fitness level! Known for a plentiful population of bald eagles, the town also offers scenic trails along the Chilkat Peninsula. Chilkat Tlingit heritage is shared as local storytellers come aboard to share their long-lasting legacy.  As the day draws to a close, celebrate your voyage with a farewell dinner and special photo recap from your expedition team.

Juneau Departure

Disembark at about 9:00 am. Transfer provided to the airport or the Un-Cruise hospitality area. (Flight departure must be after 11:30 am.)
