Tour overview:
Travel to Denali National Park on a fall or winter adventure! This guided tour departs from Fairbanks and travels south through the Tanana Valley along the Parks Highway. Your guide will share areas of interest and stop at the rural community of Nenana, situated on the banks of the Tanana River. As you continue south, the mountains of the Alaska Range come into view. Visit the Murie Science Learning Center at the Denali Park entrance upon arrival. This educational center focuses on facts about the park and how the plants, animals, and humans adapt to survive the extreme winter cold of Alaska’s Interior region. Enjoy a short walk, or try snowshoeing, to experience the beauty of the area up close on a nearby nature trail. In the afternoon, you will return to Fairbanks.
