Tour overview:
This Denali rafting tour, the “Healy Express,” begins with a scenic rafting float trip on the Wilderness Run of the Nenana River and then continues with the whitewater of the Canyon Run. The Wilderness Run is a scenic portion of the Nenana River, providing a rafting trip that is easy, fun, and sometimes thrilling. The Nenana’s rapids are Class I and II, with one Class III rapid. An excellent easy, and fun float trip for families! You may see moose, sheep, caribou, and bear as you raft downstream 11 miles to Healy, Alaska. Your experienced river rafting guide will adeptly handle steering the oar boat so you can relax and enjoy the scenic views. After this gentle section, your expert Alaska rafting guide will lead you into the whitewater section of Canyon Run. Get into real whitewater rafting as you hang on through thrilling rapids such as “Cable Car,” “Coffee Grinder,” and “Ice Worm”! These rapids are Class III with one Class IV. All rafting and safety gear is provided.

NOTE: 7:30 AM departure only between June 5 – September 3.
