This Anchorage day tour puts you in the Alaska dog sledding driving seat. You will be picked up from your Anchorage hotel for a scenic drive north to dog mushing country. After an early lunch, arrive at Iditarod champion Dallas Seavey’s sled dog kennel for an authentic Alaskan mushing experience! Meet the sled dogs, learn the dog calls, test the brakes, and steer your sled with your guide for approximately 45 minutes through the Alaskan wilderness with your dog team. This guided dog sledding day tour provides an excellent opportunity to hear stories from the trail and learn about the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race and mushing basics.
