  • Guide services
  • Ice crampons
  • All taxes and fees
What's Not Included:

Meals and gratuities.

Physical Activity: Difficulty level is moderate to difficult. No experience needed, but must be able to hike about 5-6 miles on uneven terrain and partly loose, unstable rock.  The last ¼ mile of the trail to / from the glacier has deteriorated in recent years and could have loose rock, exposed ice, loose rock over ice, or steep terrain. This can be challenging for younger children or adults who are unstable on their feet. For the historical tour, need to hike a steep hill with about 150 feet elevation gain and then must be able to descend multiple sets of steep stairs, some almost like ladders and low headroom.
Required at Booking: Date of birth.
Special Terms: While there is no set minimum age for this tour, the tour is not suitable for very young children (see under "Physical Activity" for more details).

A quick note of thanks for setting up a wonderful trip to all 8 National Parks in Alaska. We were pleased with the organization of the itinerary and all the lodge accommodations. We learned in Bettles that there is a term for people like us ‘Park Collectors.’
