Physical Activity:
The tour is challenging and strenuous. However, no experience is necessary. You must be in good physical condition and able to hike for up to 4 hours, covering 6-7 miles round trip, with a 10-pound backpack. The terrain is uneven and rocky, so sturdy hiking shoes are a must.

Dates of birth; rain gear sizes (jacket and pants); hotel information in Juneau. Medical issues, allergies and dietary restrictions.
Special Terms:
There is a 4-person minimum is required to operate this tour. Children must be 10 years old to participate in this tour. Circumstances such as poor weather, inadequate footwear, or a slow pace may limit the time spent by the glacier viewing area. Unfortunately seeing specific glacier features cannot be guaranteed due to the constantly changing nature of Mendenhall Glacier.
