We have been home for 2 weeks following our 15 day trip to Alaska arranged by Alaska Tours. We are still spending much of our spare time watching You Tube videos about Alaska. “Awesome” is insufficient to describe our experience. We flew into Anchorage, rented a car, and traveled 1800 miles over 2 weeks. We had a bus tour of Denali NP, a bush plane flight into Wrangell St. Elias NP, a guided glacier hike, and a 6 hour boat tour of Kenai Fjords NP. All the reservations for lodging and activities were arranged and pre-paid by Alaska Tours. We just had to show up on time. The organization of our trip and the time budgeted to each location were excellent. The instructions and advice given by Alaska Tours was spot on. Even with extensive research we could not have put together such a fine experience on our own. It is expensive to travel in Alaska, but we felt we received an excellent value. We never felt unfairly charged when we considered how remote some of the locations are. We ate very well. Overall, it was 2 unforgettable weeks. We would recommend Alaska Tours to anyone with Alaska on their bucket list.
