This Fairbanks day tour offers the perfect Northern Lights viewing opportunity as well as the chance to be personal dinner guests at an Alaska cabin. You will be transferred 30 – 45 minutes from your hotel to a prime Aurora viewing destination away from the city lights. At a warm cabin, you will enjoy a home cooked, Alaskan meal. While you are waiting for the natural wonders of the Northern Lights to appear, relax around a warm wood stove and listen to interesting Alaska stories about dog mushing, Alaskana lifestyles and the culture and history of Alaska’s Native people. Arctic winter clothing is available to watch the Aurora outside. The north-facing windows of the cabin also allow for optimal viewing even from indoors.
Please note that the Alaska cabin you will shelter in is comfortable and warm but also rustic and without indoor plumbing. There is an outhouse nearby. Your driver will return you to your hotel around 3:00 am.
