Tour Overview

During this guided winter day tour from Fairbanks, you will first stop at the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitor Center. From there your day tour continues through the heart of downtown Fairbanks where you learn about the history of the “Golden Heart City”. After travelling through some of Fairbanks’s more unique residential areas, you will see views of the Trans Alaska Oil Pipeline. The Museum of the North will be the next stop on your itinerary. Marvel at the natural and cultural history of Alaska and discover the science behind Alaska’s majestic Northern Lights. A short 20 minute drive will bring you out of town to North Pole and the Santa Claus House. Santa Claus House may be closed on weekdays, however, you will be able to take pictures of Santa Claus House from outside and may be able to meet Santa’s reindeer team. Return to Fairbanks for the conclusion of this tour.
