Tour Overview
** This tour is not operating in 2020 **
Your Ketchikan tour takes you on a scenic 2-hour boat tour to view abundant American bald eagles, the totem poles of Totem Bight State Park and Ketchikan’s historic Guard Island Lighthouse. While on board, your experienced captain and crew will share with you Southeast Alaska’s coastal history, native culture, and natural beauty. Cruise the coastline of the Tongass National Forest, the world’s largest temperate rainforest, and learn about Alaska’s interconnected ecosystems and the animals that call this region home. Along the way you will see the beautiful Alaska Native art embodied in totem poles at Totem Bight State Park, and Ketchikan’s historic Guard Island Lighthouse, built in 1904 and still in operation today. Relax in the heated main cabin, or enjoy the open air observation deck of the boat, while you keep on the lookout for harbor seals, sea lions, moon jellyfish, pigeon guillemots, blue heron, deer, whales, and other wildlife.
