The tour ends in Anchorage. Along the way, you will enjoy different Alaska outdoor activities. In Denali, start out with an exciting whitewater rafting trip on the Nenana River. The next day, get ready for a 3-4 hour guided hike inside Denali National Park. The hiking trail follows the park boundary and offers spectacular views of the Nenana River and the expansive glacially carved Yanert Valley. Those wanting to see more of the park and wanting a chance for wildlife viewing, can book an optional Denali bus tour. From Seward, take a half day boat tour into beautiful Resurrection Bay with stop at Fox Island. The next day, you are in for an awesome Seward adventure. After a jet boat ride you reach the Bear Glacier lagoon. With the help of your kayak guide, you will navigate your kayak through stunning glacier ice. Transfer on your own or by courtesy hotel shuttle to the Fairbanks railroad station. At 8:20am depart on a scenic train ride on the Alaska Railroad and travel to Denali. An exciting white water rafting tour awaits you in the afternoon. Choose to paddle or let your rafting guide do all the work on this exciting 2-hour whitewater rafting trip on the Nenana River in Denali. The rapids at Canyon Run on the Nenana River are moderate Class III with one more exciting Class IV rapid. Overnight near the Denali park entrance.
The park is yours to explore today! In the morning, join a guided hiking tour on the Triples Lakes Trail! The hiking trail begins with a gradual and consistent hill climb providing spectacular views of the Nenana River and the expansive glacially carved Yanert Valley. The trail then descends and levels off to provide access to the three alpine lakes that give this Alaska trail its name. Beautiful views of the lakes, bounded by the elevated ridges, make for some outstanding photo opportunities. This Alaska hike is rated moderately strenuous due to the reasonably steep ascent at the onset of this hike. Tour duration is about 3-4 hours.
If you wish to explore more of the park today, you may want to opt for a bus tour into the park, the Tundra Wilderness Bus Tour (additional charge applies). The total tour lengths is 5 to 6 hours. During the bus ride you have a chance to see more of Denali’s impressive landscapes and to see the parks wildlife such as moose, bear, caribou and perhaps even a wolf. Another option for the afternoon is an ATV tour where you explore other trails near Denali National Park (see Tour Add-ons).
After an action packed day, relax in the evening. Overnight near the Denali park entrance.

After arrival in Seward, transfer yourself to the Seward Small Boar Harbor. From here, you will depart on a 5-hour boat cruise at 12:00pm. The boat cruise takes you first to Fox Island, a private island, where you will enjoy lunch. Afterwards you cruise through the waters of Resurrection Bay with its beautiful coastal scenery and opportunities for seeing seabirds and marine wildlife such as Steller sea lion, harbor seal, and with some luck even whales! Overnight Seward.
Today you are in for a treat! On your half day Bear Glacier Kayaking tour, you start out from Seward with a 30-45 minute boat ride. Along the way, there is another opportunity to see Alaska wildlife. Then you kayak through the massive icebergs that are deposited by Bear Glacier, the Harding Icefield’s largest glacier. The lagoon is calm and your kayaking guide will choose the best route to navigate through the maze of ice. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight Seward.
You spend most of your day in Seward, before you travel back to Anchorage. Maximize your adventure in Seward and opt for the Seward Zipline Tour or a helicopter dog sledding tour! The canopy adventure zipline tour is 3 hours long and features 8 ziplines, 3 suspension bridges and 2 rappels. The helicopter dog sledding tour is another great Alaska experience.
