The varied sites in our tour of Fairbanks were all interesting! The pipeline and the Museum of the North were great! North Pole, Santa Claus House and the reindeer were fun! Our guide was informative, and pleasant!

Physical Activity:
No experience necessary but participants should be able to hike about 8-11 miles on uneven terrain. The last ¼ mile of the trail to / from the glacier has deteriorated in recent years and could have loose rock, exposed ice, loose rock over ice, or steep terrain. This can be challenging for younger children or adults who are unstable on their feet. The glacial terrain will be more varied and challenging than on the Half Day Glacier Hike.
