This fun Juneau, Alaska, kayaking tour takes you as close as the U.S. Forest Service allows to the face of Mendenhall Glacier. Begin with a scenic drive to Mendenhall Lake, where you will suit up with gear and board a stable 2-person kayak. Paddle across Mendenhall Lake, watching for birds, eagles, goats, salmon, and bears. Next, venture within yards of the massive, awe-inspiring face of the living Mendenhall Glacier while navigating past icebergs. Travel around the base of the beautiful and mighty Nugget Falls.

Note: This tour departs from the Mt. Roberts Tram near the Juneau cruise ship dock.

Physical Activity: Suitable for novices, but moderate to good physical condition is necessary as you will paddle for approximately 2 hours.

Required at Booking: Cruise ship or Juneau hotel information.

Special Terms: A 4-person minimum is required to operate this tour. Children must be at least 6 years old and weigh at least 40lbs to participate. The maximum weight is approximately 275lbs (dependent on waist size to fit into kayak cockpit).
