Physical Activity:
Must be able to hike about 5-6 miles on uneven terrain. The last ¼ mile of the trail to / from the glacier has deteriorated in recent years and could have loose rock, exposed ice, loose rock over ice, or steep terrain. While no previous climbing experience is necessary, you must be physically capable of climbing up to 75ft on vertical ice at one time.
