Meet in the town of Sterling, Alaska for a freshwater salmon fishing charter on the Kenai River or on the Kasilof River. Depending on the season, you will fish for trout and/or various species of salmon including King Salmon and silver salmon.

King Salmon fishing in Alaska starts around June 8 and ends July 31. However, King Salmon fishing is not possible every day during the season – due to fishing regulations, the river will be closed to King Salmon fishing from time to time when populations are depleted. King Salmon fishing is catch and release only.  Silver Salmon fishing typically takes place from mid August to early September. Current Alaska catch limit for silver salmon is 2 per day.

Note: This tour departs from Sterling which is located approximately 22 miles east of Kenai, 11 miles east of Soldotna, 82 miles north of Seward.
