Enjoy the intimacy of a small group on an Anchorage day tour as you travel along the Turnagain Arm along the Seward Highway, one of the most scenic drives in the country. A professional Alaska tour guide will tell you all about the area and share their personal knowledge of Alaska on the way to Mt. Alyeska in Girdwood. Take in the spectacular views as you ride an aerial tram to the top of the mountain. Lunch is included in Girdwood. Following lunch you will visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where your guide will introduce you to Alaskan animals including moose, bears, elk, caribou, owls and more! You will also take a one hour cruise to the face of Portage Glacier and see the Begich-Boggs Visitor Center. Aboard the cruise watch chunks of ice calve into the water while park rangers share information and stories about glaciers, global warming and the flora and fauna of the area. As you travel back to Anchorage, keep your eyes open for Dall sheep and beluga whales!
