Tour Overview
Take a small group tour into Alaska’s Arctic Region by air and land with an afternoon departure from Fairbanks in a small plane which will give you a sense of the vast scale of Alaska’s arctic region. Enjoy a walk on the arctic tundra and visit the Arctic Circle Trading Post, situated in the rural community of Joy, Alaska. Return by bus touring on the rugged Dalton Highway. Along the way, marvel at the majestic beauty of the Far North’s most famous waterway, the Yukon River, and learn of its storied past. View the remarkable Trans-Alaska Pipeline and cross the Arctic Circle in a ceremonious fashion, where you will receive an official Arctic Circle certificate.
The Arctic weather conditions may delay the tour, therefore, an overnight in Fairbanks is highly recommended.
