If you’re going to be in Anchorage this winter, a photography day tour is a fun experience for amateur to avid photographers alike to learn about Anchorage’s many attractions! This 4-hour sightseeing tour with your camera is a great way to discover and explore Anchorage in the winter.
Meet in downtown Anchorage and hunt for the best light of the day, which during winter at this latitude, often bathes the snowy landscape in stunning colors. You will be transported to scenic locations around Anchorage, Cook Inlet, and Chugach State Park to shoot enchanting Alaska winter landscapes. The trip’s itinerary is flexible and allows for spontaneous stops to photograph wildlife spotted en route. On certain dates, there is the opportunity to shoot the moon rising over the white-capped peaks of the Chugach Mountains. Along the way, you will be offered creative and technical photography tips and technical advice from your photography guide. This is a very small tour with a maximum of only 6 people.
