Itinerary
Day 1 / Arrival Day: In the morning, transfer in Anchorage to departure point on own. At about 11:30am, depart from Anchorage and fly to King Salmon. Upon arrival in King Salmon you will change into a float plane and then fly in a smaller float plane from King Salmon to Brooks. On arrival in Brooks, meet with Park Service staff for an orientation. The rest of the day is yours to explore the area, search for and watch bears. Overnight Brooks Lodge.
Day 2 / Departure Day: In the morning, time for bear viewing. In the early afternoon take a float plane flight back King Salmon and then a connecting flight back to Anchorage. You return back to Anchorage at about 3:30pm.

About the Package
Accommodation at Brooks Lodge is simple. Rooms are simply furnished with 2 sets of bunk beds, a sink, toilet, shower and a heater. Central shower houses are also available. Television, internet or cell phone service is not available! Rooms are in standalone cabins and multiplexes; no preference can be requested; rooms are “run of house” only.
Airplane Information: Flights between Anchorage and King Salmon are in a twin-engine, wheeled plane. The flights between King Salmon and Brooks are in a small, 6 to 8-passenger, single-engine float plane. Due to limited space, luggage is restricted to small and preferably soft-sided luggage.
Special Payment & Cancellation Policy
Payment terms: 50% deposit is due at time of booking. Final payment due 90 days prior!
Cancellation fees: If you cancel up to 91 days prior, a 50% cancellation fee applies. If you cancel 90 – 0 days prior, 100% cancellation fee applies/ it is non-refundable!
Payments are non-refundable, even if trips are cancelled due to weather / services not used.
