Tour Overview

On this winter day tour out of Fairbanks, drive up the Dalton Highway into Alaska’s Arctic. As you depart Fairbanks, you will pass gold mines and drive alongside the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Walking on the Arctic tundra will give you a sense of the vast scale of Alaska’s Far North and the Arctic region. You’ll drive all the way north to the Arctic Circle and receive an official Arctic Circle certificate. On the way back south to Fairbanks, stop and marvel at the majestic beauty of the northland’s most famous waterway, the Yukon River. Tour departs from the East ramp of the Fairbanks airport.
