  • Our trip was fantastic! The boat trips out of Valdez and Seward were both great. We saw calving glaciers on both trips and an Orca pod, puffins, sea otters, seals and sea lions. The places where we stayed were wonderful. We went to mile marker 62 on the road to Denali. We saw grizzlies, caribou, Dall sheep, a huge moose banging his antlers on a tree and Denali. Denali was spectacular. With no clouds we could see it all the way along the approach and when we stopped at the end of the road it seemed like the mountain almost filled the skyline.
