Snowshoe races are one of the many events during Fur Rendezvous in AnchorageAlaska is alive in winter!  Contrary to popular belief, the state is not covered in darkness for 6 months!  Much of Alaska enjoys between 6 - 12 hours of daylight depending on the time of winter.
