Kachemak Bay Wilderness Lodge is an exclusive
private hideaway, hosting only 10 to 12 guests per week. Your
all-inclusive rate includes daily naturalist guide
service, gourmet meals, and a private cabin with views of the
ocean and mountains. The eight friendly, experienced staff at
this award winning lodge provide personalized service.
During your visit you will have your personal guide (one
guide per party) and may choose among viewing wildlife,
glaciers, birding, fishing, hiking, tide
pooling, sea kayaking, and relaxing
surrounded by mountains and ocean in a fantastic
wilderness setting.
The lodge, about 30
minutes by boat from Homer, is located in a
beautiful and peaceful ocean and mountains setting.
There are four distinctive and uniquely
Alaskan private guest cabins.
Each has a private bath, sitting/living area
separate from the bedroom and a deck with spectacular
views of the mountain and sea. Several cabins have two bedrooms for
families. The cabins are comfortably furnished with
original art, home-made quilts, fresh flowers,
chocolates, a fruit basket and wine.
The main lodge
features a large living/dining room with
amazing views and an open kitchen. There is a sod-roof Finnish log sauna,
outdoor hot tub, solarium with large outdoor deck,
and large docks with outdoor cook-out pavilion.
