The Bear Track Inn is a truly unique hand-crafted log building, located about 9 miles from the entrance to Glacier Bay National Park. The central sitting area, with its massive fire place, is the focal point of the Inn. The floor to ceiling windows offer superb views of the nearby streams, mountains, forests and meadows. Wildlife can also frequently be seen from the lodge.

Each of the 14 spacious guest rooms (270 square feet) have two queen size beds, table and chairs, an armoire, a trestle bench, and private bathroom. All rooms have down comforters, 200 thread count sheets, and down pillows. The second floor rooms also have vaulted ceilings.

There are many activities to chose from while staying at the Inn, including custom guided tours of Glacier Bay, world-class sport fishing, wildlife viewing, whale watching and kayaking. Of course, you can always just relax on the deck or in the overstuffed suede couches in sitting room.

Meals are included while staying at the Bear Track Inn. Breakfast and dinner are served family-style in the dining room, while a packed lunch is provided for those going on excursions. Dinner typically includes your choice of between three to six entrees, such as steak, chicken, vegetarian and local favorites such as seafood and caribou; homemade breads, freshly made dressings, and dazzling desserts. Enjoy a locally brewed beer or glass of wine with dinner.
