Bettles Lodge is a beautiful, rustic yet modern facility built originally in 1948, located 35 miles north the Arctic Circle easily reached form Fairbanks. The lodge has been renovated to provide guests fully modern amenities and a base to explore Alaska's Arctic. In the lodge common area, relax after a day of outdoor activities, watch TV, converse with other guests about the day's activities or visit the second floor game room, complete with a billiard table. At Bettles Lodge you will find a relaxing setting and access to the vast Arctic wilderness surrounding you!

Bettles Lodge: Tour 167
2 nights - SUMMER PROGRAM
Day 01: Enjoy a one-hour scenic flight from Fairbanks crossing the mighty Yukon River and Arctic Circle. Good views of the Brooks Range and Gates of the Arctic National Park. After dinner, take advantage of long daylight hours and enjoy a walk through the forest. Overnight at Bettles Lodge.
Day 02: Tour the Native Village of Evansville and meet local Inupiaq Eskimos. You will also have time to participate in optional activities (not included) such as rafting on the Koyukuk River or flightseeing tours of Gates of the Arctic and Kobuk National Parks. All meals included today.
Day 03: After breakfast, depart on your return flight to Fairbanks. Tour concludes upon your arrival in Fairbanks.
Roundtrip airfare between Fairbanks and Bettles; 2 nights lodging and all meals at Bettles Lodge; village tour; all taxes.
Accommodations: Standard rooms are located in the main lodge which has a total of 6 standard guest rooms that share 2 central bathrooms. (Standard rooms do not have private bath).
Jacuzzi rooms are located in the Aurora Lodge, which is separate from the main lodge. Jacuzzi rooms have private bathroom with the Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom.
