Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge is the only lodge located inside of Kenai Fjords National Park. The lodge is nestled on the banks of a protected lagoon with stunning views of Pedersen Glacier. The property features an elegantly rustic main lodge and 16 nicely appointed private cabins. By day, guests can choose from a range of activities to match individual interests and energy levels, from guided hiking to sea kayaking through the lagoon and Aialik Bay. More relaxing options include strolling the pristine beachfront or perusing the naturalist library. In the evening, the lodge serves as the dining room and lounge. Tour 179A - from Seward

2 days / 1 night

 

Day 01:  At 10am, depart from the scenic port of Seward. After a four to five-hour wildlife and tidewater glacier cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park, arrive at the shores near the lodge. The lodge and guest cabins are an easy 20-minute walk from the outer coast along a maintained trail; motorized travel is provided if desired. Today’s activities include an orientation, afternoon excursions, dinner, and evening program. (Lunch, dinner.)

 

Day 02:   Choose a short morning activity to suit your interest. After lunch, board the boat for the coastal wildlife and scenic tour of Kenai Fjords National Park as you return to Seward. Arrive by 5:00 pm, in time to meet a train or bus departure to Anchorage. (Breakfast, lunch.)

Days 02-03:  Choose from a wide variety of activities offered daily, including sea kayaking (short and long tours), hikes for various energy levels, exploring the seacoast by motorized skiff, and interpretive programs. Take a sack lunch for extended activities or join an in-camp lunch in between shorter trips. Choose time to relax if you wish. Dinner and evening programs are hosted by naturalists nightly. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner.)

 

Final Day:  Choose a short morning activity to suit your interest. After lunch, board the boat for the coastal wildlife and scenic tour of Kenai Fjords National Park as you return to Seward. Arrive by 5:00 pm, in time to meet a train or bus departure to Anchorage. (Breakfast, lunch.)

90 to 45 days prior to lodge stay date:  50% of invoice total.

44 to 36 days prior to lodge stay date:  60% of invoice total.

35 to 0 days prior to lodge stay date:  100% of invoice total.
