wholesalers and other travel companies around the

JOB
TITLE:
Reservations & Sales Agent – Level 1
RELATIONSHIPS:
Receives support from Lead Reservations Manager and
overall supervision from Manager Reservations &
Inventory.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Reservations
Complete a reservation request from start to
finish. This entails
-
Receiving and analyzing request
-
Clarifying or requesting additional information
from customer, as needed
-
Providing additional information and/or options
to customer, as needed
-
Creating
reservation file and/or checklist
-
Processing reservation through in-house
reservation system
Customer
Service
Respond to
correspondence from customers/tour operators via fax
and e-mail for general inquiries and reservations.
Assist traveling customers with questions/problems
as they arise.
Communicate with customers and/or Manager to ensure
consistency between products offered in relation to
client expectations.
Participate in after-hours emergency cell phone
schedule.
General Tasks
Assist accounting with verifying vendor invoices as
needed.
Assist with documentation as needed.
Other office duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Strong and
friendly written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computer applications such as
Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Highly observant to both small and large details.
Customer service oriented working skills.
Creativity and team thinking.
Knowledge of Alaska, Yukon, and/or Canada's West and
foreign languages are advantageous but not required.
HOURLY
WAGE:
$12.00+
depending on experience, plus benefits package
JOB TITLE:
Group Tour Coordinator
RELATIONSHIPS:
Immediate
supervision from Group Manager
JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES
v
Respond to
client inquiries and provide accurate and detailed
information via phone or e-mail.
v
Effectively
communicate with clients to ensure consistency
between the tour products offered with respect to
client expectations.
v
Prepare
itinerary proposals, cost outlines, and reservations
with minimum supervision required
v
Process
reservations and monitor confirmations for group
files as assigned by Group Manager.
v
Ensure group
files are completed accurately and according to the
confirmed itinerary.
v
Generate
customer invoice/confirmation for confirmed
reservations and monitor deposit and final payments
for all assigned files.
v
Prepare
comprehensive tour documents and itineraries that
meet the clients’ needs and ensure that they are
clear, concise, and accurate.
v
Assist with
the collection of supplier information including
pricing, descriptive data, booking terms, and
cancellation information.
v
Other
administrative duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
v
High
attention to detail and ability to research
independently
v
Knowledge of
Alaska and a minimum of two seasons travel industry
experience
v
Excellent
customer service and follow through with clients
v
Strong
written and verbal communication skills
v
Ability to
work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
v
Familiarity
with a foreign language
v
Proficient
knowledge of computer applications including Excel
and FrontPage
v
Bachelor’s
Degree and tour guide experience preferred
v
Knowledge of
Western Canada or airline ticketing experience are
advantageous but not required
HOURLY
WAGE:
$14.00+
depending on experience, plus benefits package
