Day 1
(Tuesday): Arrive Anchorage
Arrive in
Anchorage and transfer to the hotel via hotel courtesy shuttle.
Overnight Anchorage.
Day 2
(Wednesday): Anchorage to Denali
The morning is
at your leisure in Anchorage. This afternoon, depart by motorcoach to
Denali National Park. A short stop will be made in the small, historic
town of Talkeetna. Overnight Denali. (BB)
Day 3
(Thursday): Denali National Park
Today, travel
deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Search the
pristine wilderness for bear, moose, caribou and sheep. Weather
permitting, you may even catch a glimpse of Mt. McKinley. This tour is
approximately eight hours and includes a 'snack box' style lunch and hot
beverages. Overnight Denali. (BB, SL)
Day 4
(Friday): Denali to Anchorage
The morning is
free for optional activities such as rafting or a helicopter tour. This
afternoon, journey from Denali to Anchorage aboard the famous Alaska
Railroad. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 5
(Saturday): Experience Anchorage
This morning,
depart on a sightseeing tour of Anchorage, including a visit to the
Alaska Native Heritage Center. The tour will conclude at your hotel at
approximately 1pm. Your Discover Denali coach tour comes to an end with
a hotel courtesy shuttle transfer to the airport for your flight home.
