This
itinerary combines some of
Alaska’s most famous attractions including
Denali
and
Kenai Fjords National Parks. These destinations provide the best
opportunities for viewing
Alaska’s famous wildlife by both land and by sea.

traveling via a combination of comfortable coach and
rail services through coastal and interior

Transfer to hotel by courtesy shuttle
or by taxi. Overnight in Anchorage.
Day
3: Anchorage
to Seward Transfer
via hotel shuttle or taxi to the Anchorage rail depot where you
depart at 6:45am* on the Alaska Railroad for Seward. This scenic journey takes you
along Cook Inlet and into the glacier
filled Kenai Mountains. Upon arrival in Seward
(11:00am), transfer on
own to hotel. At 3pm***, depart on a 6
hour cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park. The
Park boasts abundant wildlife, alpine and
tidewater glaciers, and breathtaking scenery.
As you cruise through Resurrection Bay, keep
watch for Stellar Sea Lions, harbor seals,
puffins, eagles and even whales. Cruise past
the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge,
home to a large variety of birds, on your way
to either the Holgate or Aialik Glacier. Enjoy
a salmon dinner on-board.
Overnight Seward.
*** Important: the 3pm cruise departure
only operates from May 31 to Aug 24! If you
are in Seward before May 31 and after Aug 24
you will depart on the 11:30am cruise
departure and return to Seward at approx.
5:30pm. The meal included in this cruise
departure is a light meal.

Day
4: Seward
to Talkeetna
In the morning at 10:30am depart on a motorcoach
to Anchorage and then continue on to Talkeetna.
In Anchorage you will have approx. 1hr time for
lunch (on your own, not included) before you
continue traveling to Talkeetna where you arrive
at
5:30pm. Upon arrival in Talkeetna you will be dropped off at your hotel. The
evening is at your leisure. Overnight
in Talkeetna.
Day
5:
Talkeetna
to Denali
Today is at your leisure in Talkeetna. We
recommend a
flight seeing tour to
Mt. McKinley or a jetboat safari (not
included). At about 6:00pm, you will depart
from your hotel to Denali via motorcoach,
arriving in 9pm.
Overnight near the Denali park entrance.
Day
6: Denali
National Park
Early this morning (between 5:30am and 7am),
depart on a bus tour of Denali National Park.
This 6 to 8 hour tour takes you approximately
53 miles into the Park. As you travel through the
pristine wilderness, your experienced driver
/ guide will provide an
overview of the land and its wildlife. Along
the way, stops will be made for viewing
wildlife, such as bears and moose, and
taking photographs.
A snack box and hot beverage are included.
The afternoon
is free for optional tours, such as
rafting and helicopter
sight seeing (not included).
We recommend spending dinner enjoying the
amusing antics of the
Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre
(not included). Overnight at the Denali park entrance.
Day 7: Denali
to Anchorage Transfer provided to
the train station this morning. At 12:30pm,
depart on the Alaska Railroad back to Anchorage.
Relax as you enjoy a scenic
ride along the rail belt. Upon arrival in Anchorage
at 8pm, transfer via
hotel courtesy shuttle or taxi to your hotel. Overnight
in Anchorage.
Day 8: Depart Anchorage Transfer
via hotel courtesy shuttle or taxi to the airport to meet
your departure flight
or start an additional program.

(roundtrip) and Denali to Anchorage. Scheduled
motorcoach transportation from Anchorage to
Talkeetna and Talkeetna to Denali National
Par. 6 hr Kenai
Fjords National Park Cruise with meal, and 6 to 8 hour bus tour into Denali
National Park with snack. All taxes and fees.
Included for
standard programs are transfers in Anchorage by courtesy
hotel shuttle (taxi fares are not included).
Included for upgraded programs are taxi transfers in
Anchorage and an upgrade to the Gold Star dome railcar
from Denali to Anchorage.
