Home to an abundance of glaciers and wildlife, Prince William Sound is one of Southcentral Alaska‘s most picturesque marine environments. Just east of the Kenai Peninsula and a short hop from Anchorage, enjoy an Alaska day cruise on the calm waters of the Sound for a once-in-a-lifetime glacier viewing and wildlife experience. This full-day Alaska day cruise begins with a transfer to Whittier from Girdwood via the Alaska Railroad. Upon arrival you will board a smooth sailing catamaran. As you travel to Surprise Glacier you will see a working salmon hatchery as you continue to watch for sea otters and birds. This Alaska day cruise provides an excellent opportunity to witness glacier calving as well as abundant marine wildlife.
