Tour Overview

Enjoy an extended flightseeing adventure over the heavily glaciated Chugach Mountains. This popular one hour helicopter tour based out of the resort village of Girdwood explores the Lake George Glacier, Lake George Valley, Whiteout Glacier and Colony Glacier. As you fly through the Chugach State Park backcountry, the panorama opens up to glacial-formed valleys and magnificent fields of ancient translucent blue glaciers. Highlight your trip with a glacier landing (dependent on weather and glacier conditions).

Note: If a glacier landing is not available, you will land nearby for the opportunity to walk up to and touch a glacier and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

Special Terms

A 2- person minimum required to operate the tour.  Due to limited capacity, there is a surcharge for passengers weighing 300lbs or more. Children must be able to sit in their own seat.
