Tour Overview

Enjoy a fun and exciting day tour out of Girdwood just south of Anchorage. The greatest Alaskan experience of all – dog sledding on a glacier! Enjoy a scenic helicopter flight to the unique glacier base camp which serves as a summer-time training ground for Iditarod sled dogs. Learn about mushing and hold adorable puppies while the team is prepared. You will then enjoy a scenic sled ride along a spectacular 2-mile glacier trail. The time spent on the glacier is approximately 1 1/4 hour.

A 2-person minimum is required for the tour to operate.  Due to limited capacity, there is a surcharge for passengers weighing more than 250lbs and the maximum allowed weight is 300lbs.
