Transfer from the Juneau airport to
downtown
Juneau. Later today, board your ship
to begin your cruise down the
Gastineau Channel. D

picturesque town of Haines is a
pleasant contract to the bustle of the
big cruise ship ports. This truly
Alaskan town, known for its scenery,
military history, numerous artisans,
galleries, and off the beaten path
attitude, will allow you to breathe in
a taste of life in the "real" Alaska
that few have the privilege to enjoy.
Take plenty of time to explore on your
own or indulge in a wide variety of
optional activities, including an
optional excursion to Skagway (not
included), that will allow you to take

Day
3: Glacier Bay
Enter
a 3.3 million acre nature wonderland
where a National Park Service Ranger
will come onboard to offer information
on the flora and fauna of this
impressive region. About 220 species of birds
have been recorded in the Park as well
as large populations of land mammals.
The Ranger will help you look for
mountain goats, brown and black bears,
coyote, wolverine, moose, harbor
seals, puffins, and murres. BLD

4: Icy Strait - Captain's Choice
Cruising
Captain's Choice
cruising may include inflatable
excursion craft outings or bow
landings to look for wildlife such as
brown bear, Sitka black-tailed deer
and wolves in the old-growth forests
of Sitka spruce and western hemlock.
You may also see playful otters and
bald eagles. BLD
Day 5: Juneau Disembarkation
Disembark in Juneau. Transfer to the
airport for your return flight home. B
3 or 4 nights accommodation in private cabins;
roundtrip transfers in Juneau between the
airport and downtown; all meals aboard ship as
listed (B = breakfast, L = lunch, D = dinner);
all taxes and fees.
