Anchorage Experience with Denali & Portage Glacier Tour 1600CTA 

 

Day 1:  Seward to Anchorage
From Seward, travel in a comfortable motorcoach to Anchorage, Alaska's largest city. Enjoy spectacular scenery along
Cook Inlet and the glacier-filled Kenai Mountains. Upon arrival in Anchorage, transfer to the hotel. Overnight Anchorage.

 

Day 2:  Anchorage Sightseeing tour, Alyeska Resort & Portage Glacier

At approximately 8:30am, depart on a deluxe 10 hour narrated bus tour of Anchorage. Visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center, where you can experience the rich heritage of Alaska’s 11 major cultural groups through engaging storytelling, authentic native song and dance, and artist demonstrations. The tour continues south of Anchorage, along Turnagain Arm, to the Alyeska Resort and Portage Glacier. At the Alyeska Resort you will have time for lunch and a ride on the tram to the top of Mt. Alyeska (not included). Next, enjoy an unforgettable cruise to the face of Portage Glacier. Overnight Anchorage.

 

Day 3:  Excursion to Denali National Park
Today enjoy a day tour to Denali National Park, a must during your Alaska Trip! From Anchorage's Merrill Field airport you will depart in a bush plane for a 75 minute flight to Denali National Park. As you approach and circle Mt. McKinley, watch for climbers on their way to the summit. After landing, you will board a bus for a tour of the park. Your driver will assist you in spotting wildlife along the road and answer questions about the park and its resources. The return flight to Anchorage offers a different perspective of the area. The tour is approx. 12 hours, including flight time. (depending on availability you may do this excursion on day 2). Overnight Anchorage.

 

Day 4:  Depart Anchorage
Depending on your departure time you may have time for souvenir shopping in Anchorage. Transfer to airport by courtesy hotel shuttle.   

 

As a pre-cruise program, the above itinerary will be in reverse direction.

 

Scheduled motorcoach (bus) from Seward to Anchorage. Anchorage sightseeing tour with admission to the Alaska Native Heritage center, visit of Girdwood and Alyeska, and 1hr Portage Glacier cruise. Day excursion to Denali National Park including roundtrip flight in smaller plane, bus into Denali National Park and lunch. 3 nights hotel accommodation in Anchorage. All taxes and fees.

Included for standard programs are transfers in Anchorage by courtesy hotel shuttle (taxi fares are not included).  Included in upgraded programs are taxi transfers in Anchorage and dome train.

Denali Experience Tour 1601CTA 

 

Day 1:  Seward OR Whittier to Denali National Park
From Seward or Whittier, travel in a comfortable motorcoach to Denali National Park. A short stop will be made in Anchorage, where you will have time for lunch (not included).
Upon arrival in Denali (approx. 9pm), you will be dropped off at your hotel. Overnight near the Denali park entrance.

 

Day 2:  Denali National Park Tour
Early this morning (between 5:30am and 7am), depart on a bus tour of Denali National Park. This 6 to 8 hour tour takes you approximately 53 miles into the Park. As you travel through the pristine wilderness, your experienced driver / guide will provide an overview of the land and its wildlife. Along the way, stops will be made for viewing wildlife, such as bears and moose, and taking photographs. A snack box and hot beverage are included. Overnight near the Denali park entrance.

 

Day 3:  Denali to Anchorage
Sleep in this morning or enjoy a short excursion before departing. Just after 12 noon, you will depart for Anchorage on the railroad. The train travels south through the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, making stops in Talkeetna and Wasilla. Stroll through the train, visit the dining car and pick up souvenirs at the gift shop. Tour concludes upon arrival in Anchorage this evening (approx. 8:00pm).

 

As a pre-cruise program, the above itinerary will be in reverse direction with train on Day 1 and bus on Day 3.

 

Scheduled motorcoach (bus) from Seward OR Whittier to Denali (via Anchorage). Train from Denali to Anchorage. 6 to 8 hour bus tour of Denali National Park with a snack. 2 nights hotel accommodation near the Denali National Park entrance area. All taxes and fees.

Vancouver Experience Tour 1601CTA

 

Day 1:  Vancouver arrival
Arrive in Vancouver on your own. Transfer provided from the Vancouver airport or cruise terminal to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the famous Robson Street, Yaletown and Granville Island. Overnight Vancouver.

 

Day 2:  Vancouver Sightseeing Tour
Today, enjoy a 4-hr sightseeing tour of Vancouver. You will see Canada Place, Robson Street, the Public Library, QE Theatre and GM Place, Chinatown and Gastown. Wonder at the natural splendor of Stanley Park's Totem Poles and Prospect Point. Pass the West End high-rises and the beaches of English Bay on the way to Granville Island with its public market, shops, restaurants and galleries. Visit The Lookout to take the glass elevator to the 360° views (admission included). Following the tour, you are at your leisure to explore Vancouver. Overnight Vancouver.

 

Day 3:  Victoria & Butchart Gardens
Travel by bus and ferry today to Vancouver Island. Upon arrival on Vancouver Island, travel from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal to Butchart Gardens, famous for its outstanding landscaping and floral exhibition. Then depart from the Gardens on a sightseeing tour to Victoria, including a visit of Chinatown, Downtown, Beacon Hill Park and the Parliament building. In the evening, depart on a float plane sight seeing flight back to Vancouver. Overnight Vancouver.

 

Day 4:  Vancouver departure
Transfer from hotel to Vancouver cruise terminal or airport included. 
Tour concludes. (Depending on your travel plans, we can also extend your stay in Victoria.)
