Embarkation for the Holland America Line Cruise begins at 12:00 pm and all guests are required to be on board 1 hour prior to departure. The ship will depart at approximately 5:00 pm. All meals are included on board, as well as evening shows, educational presentations, movies, and other entertainment.

Day
2

Cruising

You will be cruising at sea the entire day today. Spend time enjoying the many amenities aboard the ship, such as the health spa, swimming pool, movie theater, casino, tennis and basketball courts, duty-free shops and library. Relax in the lounge or by the pool.

Day
3

Ketchikan

Located on Revillagigedo Island, Ketchikan is known as Alaska's Native Cultural Center and Sportfishing Capital. Alaska Native art and culture flourish here due to the large population of Alaska Natives represented by the three indigenous tribes: the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian. The city is also home to the largest collection of totem poles in the world. Spend your time in port shopping, touring Misty Fjords by ship or plane, canoeing in a traditional native canoe, or touring the backcountry by Jeep (see Tour Add-Ons). The ship will be in port from approximately 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Day
4

Juneau

Today you will visit Alaska's capital city, Juneau. Located in the Tongass Rainforest, the area is known for its lush terrain and vibrant wildflowers. There is something for everyone in Juneau - shopping, glacier dog sledding, sea kayaking, flightseeing tours, and glacier hiking (see Tour Add-Ons). The ship will arrive in Juneau approximately at 9:00 am and depart at approximately 10:00 pm.

Day
5

Skagway

Enjoy a visit to historic Skagway today. The rich history and beautiful natural surroundings combine to create unparalleled sightseeing and recreation opportunities. The two most popular routes to the Klondike began here and tens of thousands of gold seekers poured through during the famous "Rush of '98". Spend the day enjoying a guided tour of Skagway, taking a narrow gauge rail journey over the famous White Pass Route, or touring into Canada's Yukon Territory (see Tour Add-Ons). The ship will be in Skagway from approximately 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Day
6

Cruising Glacier Bay National Park

Enjoy your day as you cruise through Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. Marvel at this ice-age wonder as you cruise past tide-water glaciers, snow capped mountains and freshwater rivers. Keep watch for whales, sea lions, bears, and puffins, as well as glacier calving (when chunks of ice fall off the glacier).

Day
7

Scenic Cruising

Your journey takes you across the Gulf of Alaska as you head to the Inside Passage area. You will be at sea the entire day. Spend time enjoying the many amenities aboard the ship, such as the health spa, swimming pool, movie theater, casino, tennis and basketball courts, duty-free shops and library. Relax in the lounge or by the pool.

Day
8

Seward to Anchorage

You will awake this morning in the port town of Seward. Disembarkation begins at 7:00 am and at 10:30 am, you will travel in a comfortable motorcoach to Anchorage, Alaska largest city. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day
9

Anchorage to Denali National Park

This morning enjoy a 1-hour trolley city tour of Anchorage to be taken at your leisure. At 3:00pm, depart by motorcoach to Denali where you will arrive in the late evening. Along the route watch for wildlife and, when the weather is good, impressive views of Mt. McKinley. Overnight near the Denali park entrance.

Day
10

Denali National Park

Early this morning depart on a bus tour of Denali National Park. This 6 hour tour takes you approximately 53 miles into the Park. This afternoon is free for optional tours such as a rafting trip or dinner theater (see Tour Add-Ons). Overnight near the Denali park entrance.

Day
11

Denali National Park to Anchorage

Sleep in this morning or enjoy a short excursion before departing. Just after noon, you will depart for Anchorage on the Alaska Railroad. The train travels south through the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, making stops in Talkeetna and Wasilla. Stroll through the train, visit the dining car and pick up souvenirs at the gift shop. Upon arrival in Anchorage this evening transfer by hotel courtesy shuttle. Overnight in Anchorage.
